The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venom misses with a looping left.

Avalon clinches.
Avalon gets underhooks to prevent Venom's takedown attempt.

Avalon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Avalon has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Pretty Peter's Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.

Nice uppercut lands for Venom. That snapped Avalon's head back.
Venom throws a body shot but no joy.

Avalon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Venom looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Avalon walks into a straight right hand from Venom.

Avalon rushes Venom and presses him up against the cage.
Venom tries to throw a body punch but Avalon avoids it by throwing Venom back against the cage.
Avalon is pressed up against the cage. Venom has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Avalon down to the mat. Avalon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Venom is looking to control Avalon's arms but Avalon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Venom has his back to the cage.
Avalon throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Venoms head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Avalon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Venom backwards.
Venom has Avalon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Avalon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Venom tries to score a body lock takedown but Avalon shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Avalon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Venom seems to have recovered his senses.
Avalon pushes Venom against the cage. Avalon is working some dirty boxing. Avalon pushes off with a quick right hook! Venom goes down! Venom tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Avalon moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

A very excited looking Peter Avalon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
