Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Israel Hands (ranked 2006 p4p, 3222 weight class) and Alla Pugacheva (ranked 259 p4p, 392 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hands might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to A Collection of Sea Shanties. On his way into the cage it seems that Israel Hands has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Israel Hands seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hands throws a looping overhand right but Pugacheva ducks down to avoid it.
Pugacheva looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hands lands a jab to the nose.
Pugacheva doesn't manage to clinch there - Hands circles away.
Pugacheva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hands finds it's way round the side to connect with Pugacheva's head.
Hands swats away the attempt to clinch by Pugacheva.
Pugacheva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
An inside leg kick from Hands misses.
The crowd cheers as Hands lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pugacheva doesn't seem phased though.

Pugacheva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hands paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hands swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hands looks to score with a jab to the body but Pugacheva is just out of range.
Pugacheva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Pugacheva dives in and grabs Hands's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hands pushes down on Pugacheva's head and hops out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hands with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hands moves out of range as Pugacheva throws a body kick.
Hands tests Pugacheva's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pugacheva shoots in but Hands avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pugacheva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hands.
Hands misses with a looping right.
Hands just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd cheers as Hands lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pugacheva doesn't seem phased though.

Pugacheva moves into the clinch.

Hands throws a punch but it's blocked by Pugacheva.
Hands swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hands lands an uppercut.
A head punch on the inside from Hands fails to land.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hands.
Hands lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pugacheva backwards.

Pugacheva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hands's corner calls for a 1-2. Hands obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hands has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hands knocks out Pugacheva with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Hands before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Hands picks up the big W with a huge KO!

After winning the bout, Israel Hands thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
