Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Almoez Ali (ranked 3010 p4p, 2884 weight class) and Justin Bennett (ranked 367 p4p, 356 weight class). Ali comes to the cage accompanied by Le Manu. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bennett's choice of entrance music: The Heresy. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett swats away the attempt to clinch by Ali.
Bennett flicks out a counter leg kick but Ali steps away.
Ali moves in looking to clinch but Bennett pushes him off.
Bennett scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Almoez Ali has been cut.
Ali tries to clinch up
and Bennett counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bennett goes for a double leg but Ali avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ali continues to drive forward.
Bennett misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Bennett makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bennett throws out a loose jab but Ali uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Bennett counters with a left to the body.
Ali is breathing heavily.

and Bennett makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ali drops his hands momentarily and Bennett takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bennett finds Ali's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Ali flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Bennett lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ali will be OK.
