Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christophe Dupree (ranked 1104 p4p, 785 weight class) and Gregory Motts (ranked 9 p4p, 7 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dupree might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eddie Vedder - Society. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupree has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Motts finds it's way round the side to connect with Dupree's head.
Motts misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Dupree, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It seemed like Motts was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

That was a close round but I would say that Christophe Dupree will probably get the nod.

It looks like Christophe Dupree has been cut.

Motts feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dupree sprawling to the canvas! Dupree rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Motts finish him?!

That kick from Dupree tenderised Motts's leg. Motts is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Motts counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Motts has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
