Maritato drives through and clinches with Leopold against the cage.

Leopold stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Leopold misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Horrible takedown by Maritato or perhaps it was just good defense by Leopold which made him look bad.

Leopold wants to finish this one by submission but Maritato is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Leopold.
Maritato knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leopold on the ground.
Maritato tries to lock up and control but Leopold gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Leopold has control of Maritato's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Maritato regains control of the situation pretty easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Leopold avoids the attempt from Maritato to control.

Leopold tries for a takedown but Maritato sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Leopold has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Maritato should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Leopold has tightened it up now! Maritato should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
