Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Craig Ryan (ranked 24175 p4p, 4030 weight class) and Zaire Buceba (ranked 562 p4p, 464 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buceba closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ryan did well to prevent Buceba getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Buceba lands a nice short elbow.

Buceba is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Buceba gets to his feet and stands over Ryan, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Ryan felt that one! Buceba unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Ryan from any more punishment!
