Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Jacques (ranked 3260 p4p, 4008 weight class) and Doug Williams (ranked 394 p4p, 465 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Doug Williams was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.

Jacques goes for a double leg but Williams avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Williams continues to drive forward.

Jacques wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Williams, who protects the arm well.
We've been hearing good reports from Jacques's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Jacques is working to tighten his grip on Williams's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Williams has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jacques is really squeezing tight and eventually Williams passes out! Jacques breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
