Texas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Aggie Fight Song. Fighting Texas will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fighting Texas!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Texas lands a jab to Clinchwork's midsection.
Texas misses with a wild combination.
Texas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Clinchwork momentarily.
Texas moves away from the strike by Clinchwork.
Texas swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Texas has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Clinchwork takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Texas drives through and clinches with Clinchwork against the cage.
Texas lands with a left to the head.
Clinchwork tries to score a body lock takedown but Texas shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Texas lands a right hand that snaps the head of Clinchwork backwards.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Clinchwork. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Texas lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Texas swings wildly with an uppercut but Clinchwork uses good head movement to avoid it.

Clinchwork has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Texas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Texas creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Clinchwork is trying to drag Texas to the mat but Texas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Texas gets through Clinchwork's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Clinchwork definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Clinchwork is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Texas gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Clinchwork is rocked!
Texas has a couple of punches blocked by Clinchwork.
Oh Clinchwork is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Clinchwork seems to have got his legs back now.
Clinchwork drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Texas lands a big right hand that drops Clinchwork! The killer instinct kicks in and Texas finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Texas!
