Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Manny Elorde (ranked 3930 p4p, 16556 weight class) and King Gutierrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Gutierrez looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manny Elorde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King Gutierrez !
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez lands with an overhand left.
Gutierrez swings for the body but Elorde moves out of range.

Elorde has closed the distance and engaged Gutierrez in a clinch.

Elorde is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gutierrez can't fight it off and eventually Elorde manages to take the fight to the floor. Gutierrez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Elorde accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Elorde slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Gutierrez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Elorde.
Gutierrez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Elorde drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Elorde as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Gutierrez screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Elorde! Nice submission victory there!
