PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei MiG (ranked 2772 p4p, 5253 weight class) and Daniel Dubois (ranked 350 p4p, 546 weight class). MiG kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Zombie. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dubois throws a right and a left that both miss.
MiG shoots in but Dubois avoids the takedown attempt easily.

MiG closes the distance and clinches.
MiG working some nice short punches in the clinch.

MiG has hold of one of Dubois's legs. Dubois is fighting the takedown attempt but MiG gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
MiG missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

MiG stands up over Dubois, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
MiG is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Dubois looking for a guillotine here but MiG defends easily.

Dubois had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. MiG defends it easily.

Dubois is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. MiG is aware though and is defending well.

MiG is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Aloha MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as MiG accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
MiG cracks Dubois with a solid left hand.
