The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thomas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Braddock napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Thomas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Braddock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Braddock shoots in for a takedown but Thomas shows good takedown defense.

Thomas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Braddock is trying to defend but Thomas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Thomas decides to stand up.

Thomas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Braddock quickly recovers to half guard.

Thomas escapes and gets back to his feet.

Thomas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Thomas decides to return to a standing position.

Thomas lands a huge takedown. Braddock is out but the ref is slow to react and Thomas lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Braddock lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
