Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmagomedov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by MccGregor.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nurmagomedov.
Nurmagomedov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jabib Nurmagomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MccGregor looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

MccGregor pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nurmagomedov back to the cage. MccGregor follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Nurmagomedov misses with a hook. MccGregor ducked under it nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
MccGregor shoots in for a double leg but Nurmagomedov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nurmagomedov is looking for a counter combo.
Nurmagomedov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits MccGregors jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nurmagomedov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by MccGregor.
A nice leg kick lands there from Nurmagomedov.
MccGregor closes the distance and clinches up with Nurmagomedov, looking for a takedown. MccGregor pushes Nurmagomedov against the cage but Nurmagomedov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nurmagomedov slaps away a takedown attempt from MccGregor, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jabib Nurmagomedov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor MccGregor.

Horrible takedown attempt by MccGregor or perhaps it was just good defense by Nurmagomedov, which made it look bad.

Nurmagomedov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping MccGregor at a distance.
MccGregor is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Nurmagomedov moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
