The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Nurminen has Ottke up against the cage in a clinch.
Nurminen wants to take the fight to the mat but Ottke manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Nurminen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Ottke is trying to maintain the position but Nurminen is very close to passing his half guard.

Nurminen tries to control but Ottke wriggling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nurminen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ottke to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ottke shrugs it off.
Nurminen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Nurminen wants to control the pace but Ottke is squirming around nicely.
Ottke is wriggling around trying to escape.
Nurminen can't control as he wanted to and Ottke manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Nurminen is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nurminen content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ottke has locked up a guillotine! Ottke's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Nurminen is holding on here and Ottke must be using up a lot of energy. Nurminen has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ottke gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
