Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Underwood (ranked 5410 p4p, 24096 weight class) and Tony Neer (ranked 562 p4p, 604 weight class). Tony Neer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Larry Underwood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Neer!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Underwood manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've been hearing good reports from Underwood's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Neer wants to stand but Underwood is controlling his posture from full guard.
Underwood looking for a guillotine here but Neer defends easily.
Underwood looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neer is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Underwood has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Neer is looking to defend but Underwood has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Neer! Underwood pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Neer taps out and this one is all over!
