Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MccGregor avoids the head kick by Buijs.
MccGregor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Buijs.
Buijs avoids the head kick by MccGregor.
Buijs drops down looking to force a counter takedown but MccGregor defends it well.

Buijs pushes MccGregor up against the cage in a clinch.
Buijs changes levels and goes for a takedown here. MccGregor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Buijs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
MccGregor throws a big counter combination but Buijs scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
MccGregor shoots in for a takedown but Buijs shows good takedown defense.
Buijs looks to throw the jab but MccGregor is out of range.
MccGregor tries to clinch up but Buijs circles away and keeps his distance.

MccGregor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MccGregor trying to control the action but Buijs is working from the bottom.
MccGregor in side control, throwing shots but Buijs defends.

Buijs tries to escape but MccGregor is in control.

Buijs manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
MccGregor stops Buijs from getting back to his feet.

MccGregor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Buijs defends it well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Buijs manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Buijs has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. MccGregor doesn't defend quickly enough and Buijs has managed to lock this one up! Can MccGregor escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Buijs on a fantastic submission victory.
