Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Red Eight Yabby (ranked 5235 p4p, 4747 weight class) and Shalak Kamir (ranked 73 p4p, 70 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shalak Kamir was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Chris Dean and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yabby tries to land a leg kick but Kamir saw it coming and moves away.
Kamir has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Red Eight Yabby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yabby throws the kick towards the body but Kamir avoids it.
Yabby throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kamir.
Yabby checks a leg kick.
Yabby throws a push kick but Kamir slaps the foot to one side.
Yabby keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Yabby uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kamir.
Kamir takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Kamir checks the leg kick nicely there.
And Kamir responds with a good body kick, but Yabby manages to step out the way in time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yabby motions for Kamir to come forward. Yabby throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kamir loads up on a big right hand but Yabby slips the punch.

Yabby pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kamir misses with a body kick.
Kamir throws a body shot but no joy.
Yabby tried to counter with a leg kick but Kamir avoided it.
Yabby steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kamir.
Kamir blocks the body kick.
Yabby throws a half hearted mid kick.
Kamir lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Red Eight Yabby.
Well Yabby has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
