The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy misses with a head kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Martinez misses the target.
Martinez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Boy misses with a series of wild punches.
Martinez moves away from the strike by Boy.
As Boy backs away, Martinez returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Nice defenses there by Boy.
Martinez misses with a straight left.
Boy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Martinez.
Boy slips a straight right by Martinez.

Boy tries to sprawl but Martinez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boy with the active half guard here but Martinez passes nicely into side control.
Martinez advances to mount.

Martinez is working for a guillotine from mount but Boy frees his head quite easily.
