Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geisha Garden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the Name of (Remix). Garden has chosen Night train as his entrance music. Stan Ross had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Stan Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Geisha Garden!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ross clinches up with Garden and pushes him back against the cage.
Garden looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ross goes for a takedown attempt but Garden pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Garden keeps the fight on the outside.
Ross tries to clinch up but Garden circles away and keeps his distance.

Garden tries to keep at a distance but Ross has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ross tries to pull guard but Garden won't allow it.

Ross decides to pull guard.
Garden being controlled here momentarily.
Ross trying to keep a closed guard but Garden is proving a slippery customer.
Ross wants to stand up but Garden is controlling him.

Ross manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Ross tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Garden is squirming around, avoiding Ross's attempts to control the action.

Ross changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garden tries to avoid it but Ross manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garden to the ground. Garden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ross feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ross's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ross shoots in for a double leg but Garden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ross changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Garden looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ross has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Geisha Garden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ross shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ross takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's time! Ross's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Ross lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Stan Ross is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ross closes this distance looking for a takedown but Garden circles away.
Ross misses with a takedown attempt - Garden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Ross.

Ross fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Garden sprawls well initially but Ross persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ross perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Garden is staying active underneath Ross, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ross has Garden pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Garden manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Ross jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Garden walks away with a smile on his face. Ross gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Garden keeps the fight on the outside.
Ross fails with the takedown.

Ross tries to stand but can't do so whilst Garden controls his leg.

Garden is not content to let Ross control the position.
Ross missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Ross decides to stand and escape the position.
Ross tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garden swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Stan Ross overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ross decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Ross jumps guard but Garden stands there with Ross around his waist. Ross gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Geisha Garden has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ross connects with a nice short shot to Garden's temple.
Stan Ross is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ross is trying to control. Garden wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Stan Ross showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ross has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
