Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Short (ranked 2659 p4p, 3332 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 173 p4p, 212 weight class). Short comes into the arena with Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden misses with a combination

and Short counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Short has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Short has hold of Durden's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Durden manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Short swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Durden is now in Short's guard. A big mistake from Short there, giving up the dominant position!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Short, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
