Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Blake (ranked 25184 p4p, 4924 weight class) and Gordon Penn (ranked 680 p4p, 535 weight class). Penn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Airplanes (featuring Haley Williams) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Christian Blake has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christian Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gordon Penn!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Penn throws a lazy right hand but Blake sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Penn misses with a looping left.
Blake seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Penn moves to clinch but Blake breaks away
and Blake counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Blake has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Penn trying to keep a closed guard but Blake is proving a slippery customer.
Penn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Penn trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blake would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Blake will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Penn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blake avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Penn looking for a triangle here. Blake is fighting it but it looks tight! Penn pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Blake is tapping out - this one is all over!
