Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce White Jr (ranked 342 p4p, 711 weight class) and Phillip Terrell (ranked 46 p4p, 97 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce White Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phillip Terrell!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrell moves in looking to clinch but White Jr pushes him off.
It looked like White Jr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
White Jr misses with a wild body shot.
White Jr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Terrell lands with a nice body punch.

Terrell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent White Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
White Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Terrell tries to avoid it but White Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Terrell to the ground. Terrell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Terrell manages to regain half guard. Good work.

White Jr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

I would just about give that final round to Phillip Terrell.
I've got Terrell winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
