PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusman Reyutok (ranked 6139 p4p, 24605 weight class) and Daniel Kattar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rusman Reyutok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Kattar!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reyutok changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kattar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kattar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Kattar tries to sprawl but Reyutok drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Reyutok shoots in looking for a takedown. Kattar tries to sprawl out of it but Reyutok keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kattar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It seemed like Kattar was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Well Kattar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
