Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 24546 p4p, 4884 weight class) and Zambosurian Inday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xxx Xxx had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Xxx shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Inday napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Xxx wants to stand but Inday has his arm trapped.
Xxx just content to control the position.
Xxx seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Inday for as long as he can get away with.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xxx tries to stand but Inday is controlling his head.
Inday is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Inday keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Xxx shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Inday pinned against the cage. Inday gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Xxx fails with a takedown attempt.
Inday replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Xxx blocks it well.
Inday looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Xxx is fending him off so far but Inday persists. Nope, Xxx circles away and we're back to standing.
Xxx looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Inday stuffs the takedown attempt from Xxx. Xxx gets slowly back to his feet.

Inday shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Inday was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Xxx tries to escape but Inday is in control.
You can see the frustration on Xxx's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Inday controls the position from side control.

Xxx pushes Inday away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Inday gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

A close round but Zambosurian Inday will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Inday throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Xxx was covering up waiting for the punch and Inday finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Xxx pushes Inday off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Inday lands with a nice body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xxx leaves Inday with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Inday shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And Xxx counters with a quick kick to the body but Inday blocks it.

Inday closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Xxx's guard.
Xxx tries to strike from the bottom.

Inday stops Xxx from standing up.

Xxx wants to stand but Inday is controlling the position.
Inday controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Xxx is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Inday will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Xxx jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zambosurian Inday.
Xxx shoots in and drives through. Inday sprawls well.
Xxx shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Inday as he jumps to the side.
Inday follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Inday fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
It appears Xxx was looking to counter with a kick there.

Inday closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Xxx takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Xxx wants to get back to his feet but Inday is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Inday stays in close to Xxx's body and controls the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Xxx shoots in but no luck this time.

Xxx shoots in but Inday avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Inday looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Inday decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Xxx makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Zambosurian Inday is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Inday shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Xxx manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Xxx is looking to stand back up but Inday counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Xxx.

Well Inday has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
