PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lester Neich (ranked 1872 p4p, 5832 weight class) and Jasper Harrington (ranked 245 p4p, 555 weight class). Neich comes to the cage accompanied by Yot club. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrington tries to score a power double leg takedown but Neich sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harrington somewhat.
Harrington walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Harrington closes this distance looking for a takedown but Neich circles away.
Jasper Harrington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harrington shoots and misses
and Neich counters with a stiff right hand.
Lester Neich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jasper Harrington.
Harrington looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Harrington is trying hard to land a takedown here. Neich sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Neich uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looked like Neich was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Harrington shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Neich pinned against the cage. Neich gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Harrington tries for a takedown but Neich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lester Neich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Neich closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Harrington! Neich dives in looking to finish! Harrington is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
