The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corvette tries a head kick but it misses.
Malone blocks the body kick.
Malone tries for a takedown but Corvette sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Corvette tries to clinch up.
Corvette wants to clinch.
Malone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Corvette as he avoids it easily.
Corvette pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Malone ducks under a wild hook from Corvette.
Corvette scores with a jab. Malone acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Malone lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Malone shoots in but no luck this time.
Nathan Corvette has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clarence Malone.
Malone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A punch lands to the side of Corvette 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Corvette. Malone shrugs it off though.
Malone circles away from the clinch attempt.
Malone throws a leg kick that misses.
Malone cracks a nice hook into Corvette's ribs.

Corvette stuffs the takedown attempt from Malone. Malone gets slowly back to his feet.

Corvette clinches up with Malone and pushes him back against the cage.
Corvette misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Malone.
Malone blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Malone tries for a takedown but Corvette manages to get underhooks.
Malone has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Corvette avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Corvette moves into the clinch successfully.
Corvette lands a knee to the head.
Corvette landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Corvette unloads a knee to the mid-section. Malone lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The referee calls for Corvette to work.
Corvette goes for a takedown attempt but Malone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Malone jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Malone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Corvette pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Corvette breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Corvette moves in looking to clinch but Malone pushes him off.
Malone gets off balance looking for a body kick

so Corvette counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Corvette is sitting in close to Malone's body. Malone has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Corvette is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Corvette is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Malone.
