Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between LaDarius Frank (ranked 2458 p4p, 3933 weight class) and Stan Marsh (ranked 338 p4p, 483 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, LaDarius Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank defending well as Marsh loads up on a big left hand.
A jab from Marsh does it's job there.

It looks like LaDarius Frank has been cut.
Frank misses with a jab, cross combination.
Frank avoids the body shot from Marsh.
Frank scores with a one two! Marsh had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Marsh swinging wildly here.
Frank lands with a shot to the body.
Marsh looks to land a right hand but Frank moved out of range.
Marsh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Frank throws a body punch but Marsh moves out of range.
A combination from Frank does no damage.
Stan Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frank throws a jab when Marsh was well out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Frank scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marsh doesn't seem bothered though.
Marsh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Marsh misses with a wild combination.
Frank connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marsh. Marsh circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Marsh has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Donk. Marsh catches Frank right on the button with a cross.
Frank lands a jab to Marsh's midsection.
Frank just misses with a punch to the body.
Frank is looking to wear down Marsh with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Marsh moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Frank fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marsh manages to avoid it.
Marsh looks to score with a jab to the body but Frank is just out of range.
Frank seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Frank misses with the combination.
Marsh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Frank throws out the jab.
Frank throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marsh wants to counter with a clinch but Frank pushes him away.
Frank looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Frank bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Frank!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marsh throws out a loose jab but Frank uses good head movement to avoid it.
Frank dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Frank moves away from the strike by Marsh.

Marsh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Frank throws out the jab.
Marsh throws out a counter right but Frank avoids it with no problem.
Frank throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Frank throws a body shot but no joy.
Marsh avoids the body shot from Frank.
Marsh ducks under a wild hook from Frank.
Marsh misses with a series of wild punches.
Frank ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Marsh moves into the clinch successfully.
Marsh controlling the action here for a moment.

Marsh breaks from the clinch.
Frank connects with a body shot that sends Marsh's belly button to the back.
Frank uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Frank lands with an overhand left.
Frank uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marsh.

Marsh throws a jab when Frank was well out of range.
No joy there for Frank, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Marsh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Frank connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Marsh's hands.
Frank misses with a wild body shot.
A punch combination from Frank misses.
Marsh misses with an uppercut
and Marsh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Marsh cracks Frank with an open hand slap.
Marsh on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Frank throws the left hand but Marsh avoids the punch easily.
Frank connects with a crisp jab.
Nice uppercut there from Frank.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marsh might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Frank takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Marsh waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Frank. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Frank to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Frank is rocked!

LaDarius Frank's cut is getting worse.
Marsh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Oh Frank is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Marsh gets to his feet and stands over Frank, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Frank felt that one! Marsh unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Frank from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stan Marsh!
After the big win, Stan Marsh made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Hardcore Alchemy and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
