The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ahmed Jr clinches with his opponent.
Ahmed Jr blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ahmed Jr is trying to push Usman away but Usman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Ahmed Jr stalling the fight.
Ahmed Jr has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Usman after a bit of a struggle.
Ahmed Jr has had enough of the clinch but Usman keeps him there for the moment.
Usman throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Ahmed Jr is trying to force a seperation but Usman has the dominant position.
Ahmed Jr jumps guard but Usman turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ahmed Jr is looking to break free of the clinch but Usman has double underhooks.
Usman prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bilal Ahmed Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Usman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ahmed Jr fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Ahmed Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ahmed Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Usman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ahmed Jr misses with a series of wild punches.

Usman bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Ahmed Jr! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Bilal Ahmed Jr has been cut.

Usman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ahmed Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Usman has managed to get both his arms back between Ahmed Jr's legs - danger averted.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Usman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Usman feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Ahmed Jr crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
