The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel stuffs the takedown attempt from Marcello. Marcello gets slowly back to his feet.
Diesel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Marcello shoots for a takedown but Diesel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Marcello drops his hands momentarily and Diesel takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Mario Marcello has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Marcello.

Marcello uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Diesel.

Diesel moves into the clinch successfully.

Marcello jumps guard but Diesel stands there with Marcello around his waist. Marcello gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Diesel catches Marcello napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Marcello to the canvas!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diesel gets to his feet and stands over Marcello, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Marcello felt that one! Diesel unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Marcello from any more punishment!
