The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate Jr throws the left hand but Dufren avoids the punch easily.
Tate Jr misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Dufren counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dufren misses with the combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tate Jr. Dufren does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tate Jr lands a body shot.
Tate Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dufren manages to avoid it.

Dufren drives through and clinches with Tate Jr against the cage.
Dufren tries a body shot but Tate Jr blocks it.
Dufren misses with a short punch on the inside.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tate Jr is looking to wear down Dufren with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Tate Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Jovi Dufren has been cut.

Tate Jr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dufren looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A lazy left from Tate Jr finds it's target.

Dufren wants to clinch up but Tate Jr keeps it at a distance.
Tate Jr throws a good cross that connects.
Tate Jr scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Dufren misses with a hook. Tate Jr ducked under it nicely.
Dufren is still on wobbly legs! Can Tate Jr finish him?

Dufren gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Tate Jr gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
