The crowd seem to be enjoying Gaanja's choice of entrance music: Nathan Evans - Wellerman. Lee Stephens has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zalt Gaanja!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaanja throws out a powerful jab.
Stephens lands a glancing blow to the side of Gaanja's head.
Stephens misses with a few strikes there.
Stephens misses with a takedown attempt
and Gaanja counters with a stiff right hand.
Stephens looks for a takedown but Gaanja sprawls well.
Gaanja works Stephens's body with a nice hook.
Gaanja looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gaanja cracks Stephens with a good jab.
Gaanja walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Stephens drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Gaanja swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Stephens's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
