The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Rocha moves out of range of the body kick from Liu.
Da Rocha looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Liu looks to land a combination but Da Rocha avoids it well.
Liu lands with a kick to the ribs.
Da Rocha takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Tiago Gomes Da Rocha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liu scores with a jab to the body.
Liu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Liu moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromDa Rocha.
Liu looks to land a body kick but Da Rocha moved away.
Liu moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A punch combination from Liu misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Da Rocha crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Liu - the referee stops the clock and Da Rocha gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Liu. Da Rocha manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Liu lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Da Rocha avoids a kick to the body.
Liu misses with a jab, cross combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Da Rocha! But no joy.
Da Rocha walks into a straight right hand from Liu.
Liu cracks Da Rocha with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Liu scores with a crisp jab that stopped Da Rocha in his tracks.
Liu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Da Rocha backs up against the cage.

Liu lands with a straight right. Da Rocha didn't see that one coming.
Liu scores with a jab to the jaw.
Liu stuns Da Rocha with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Liu lands with a hook. Da Rocha tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Liu lands with a slapping head kick.

Da Rocha is rocked!
Da Rocha doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Da Rocha is still on wobbly legs! Can Liu finish him?
Liu lands a big right hook! Da Rocha looks hurt but is still standing! Liu lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Da Rocha falls down and Liu dives in with a huge hammer fist! Da Rocha's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Liu runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jun Liu!
Jun Liu got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
