Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ladislas Galopin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergeant Smash!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash misses with an uppercut. Galopin saw that one coming.
Galopin takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Galopin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Galopin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Smash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Galopin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Galopin wants to control the pace but Smash is squirming around nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Galopin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Galopin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smash is looking to escape.
Smash is trying to escape the mount but Galopin keeps good control and instead manages to take Smash's back.
Galopin seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Smash tries to roll but Galopin sticks to his back.

Galopin working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
What can Smash do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Galopin is hanging on to Smash's back as he tries to escape.
Galopin controls the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smash tries to escape but Galopin has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Galopin controlling the position well here. Smash rolled but Galopin kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Galopin looking to break Smash's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Smash remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Galopin will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Galopin controlling the positon.

Smash fending off the submission attempt from Galopin.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Smash trying to control the position but Galopin manages to sink in the hooks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Smash fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smash punishes Galopin's body with a nice straight punch.
Galopin shoots in but no luck this time.
Smash works the jab nicely.
Galopin misses with an uppercut
and Smash counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Smash moves into the clinch successfully.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Smash.
Galopin lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Galopin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Smash cracks Galopin with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Galopin looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smash finish him?

Galopin bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Smash comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Galopin falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Galopin was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sergeant Smash!
A relieved looking Sergeant Smash thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Ladislas Galopin stepped up to the mic, saying 'I made it farther than I thought I would have. Good on Sergeant Smash and G Wad. I hope they win the whole thing.'.
