Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zak Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masahiro Fujimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fujimoto has chosen Do You Call My Name - Ra as his entrance music. Zak Maxwell is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masahiro Fujimoto!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maxwell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fujimoto to the mat! Fujimoto manages to get full guard.
Maxwell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fujimoto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Maxwell passes into half guard.
Maxwell looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Fujimoto is trying to maintain the position but Maxwell is very close to passing his half guard.
Fujimoto is looking to improve his position.
Maxwell performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Maxwell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Maxwell lands a nice short elbow.
Fujimoto is looking to improve his position.
Fujimoto has hold of Maxwell's hands but Maxwell slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Fujimoto kicks off Maxwell and gets to his feet.

Maxwell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fujimoto's guard.
Fujimoto not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Maxwell looking to pass the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maxwell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fujimoto's guard.
Maxwell is looking to take a break and control but Fujimoto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fujimoto is defending against the submission attempts here by Maxwell.
Maxwell is breathing heavily.
Fujimoto wants to get back to full guard but Maxwell has passed into side control.

Maxwell working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Fujimoto looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Maxwell! Submission of the night perhaps?
