Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Munson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raendi Kouture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kouture has chosen Warriors of the World as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raendi Kouture!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Munson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kouture tries to avoid it but Munson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kouture to the ground. Kouture escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A punch combination from Kouture misses.
Kouture darts in and clinches Munson up against the cage.
Munson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Munson stalling away here and it's allowed Kouture to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Munson wants to get up but he can't break Kouture's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kouture wants to get back to his feet but Munson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kouture had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Munson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kouture Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Munson's back instead.

Munson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kouture looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Munson cracks Kouture with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Munson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcus Munson will probably get the nod.

Munson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kouture can pounce on him.

Kouture fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Munson, pushing him back against the cage.
Munson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kouture walks away with a smile on his face. Munson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kouture scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
