Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongsangchai is looking to clinch.

DeVon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kongsangchai quickly recovers to half guard.

Kongsangchai pushes DeVon off and gets back to his feet.
DeVon keeps the fight on the outside.
Kongsangchai digs a good body shot into DeVon's ribs.
Kongsangchai is looking to clinch but DeVon is avoiding it.

DeVon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kongsangchai manages to escape and get back to his feet.
DeVon throws a series of punches but Kongsangchai avoids them all with ease.

DeVon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
DeVon goes for a double leg but Kongsangchai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kongsangchai continues to drive forward.

Kongsangchai has DeVon pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. DeVon is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Kongsangchai - that's hurt DeVon badly! Oh, another knee lands and DeVon is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but DeVon doesn't seem to be complaining.
