Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simeon Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Andy Martinez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martinez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Martinez lands in his opponent's guard.
Carter looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Martinez working some strikes from top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martinez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martinez throwing strikes but missing.
Martinez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Martinez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Martinez works over Carter with some ground and pound from guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martinez gets to his feet and stands over Carter, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Carter felt that one! Martinez unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Carter from any more punishment!
