Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anthon Van Der Dusse!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schlong misses with a takedown attempt - Van Der Dusse sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Schlong lands with a nice combination. Van Der Dusse backs away looking to recover.

We've been hearing reports that Schlong has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Schlong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Van Der Dusse manages to avoid it.
Anthon Van Der Dusse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Schlong gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Van Der Dusse to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Schlong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Van Der Dusse defends well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Van Der Dusse postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Schlong covers up, he's hurt! Van Der Dusse keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Van Der Dusse and the ref steps in to end the fight! Van Der Dusse can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
