Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jurek Gazownik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Wallaby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gazownik comes into the arena with Spoon - Got Nuffin' blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wallaby's choice of entrance music: Europe - The Final Countdown. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jurek Gazownik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Doug Wallaby!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallaby throws a series of punches but Gazownik moves out of range.

Wallaby lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gazownik circles away quickly and effectively.

Wallaby connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gazownik. Gazownik circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Gazownik closes the distance and clinches up with Wallaby, looking for a takedown. Gazownik pushes Wallaby against the cage but Wallaby circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gazownik tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wallaby sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gazownik somewhat.
Doug Wallaby is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wallaby misses with a wild combination.
Wallaby is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wallaby stalks Gazownik and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gazownik's face. Gazownik staggers backwards, shaken.
Wallaby's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Wallaby duly obliges.
Wallaby lands a nice shot to the body.
Gazownik is breathing heavily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wallaby wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Gazownik closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wallaby circles away.
Wallaby fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gazownik looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wallaby lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Gazownik sprawling to the canvas. Wallaby follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Gazownik hang on?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wallaby might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Well Wallaby has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
