Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heste Pik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pik comes to the cage accompanied by Hestepik . I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista tries to bum rush Pik with a series of wild strikes but Pik uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pik throws an overhand right that lands on Batista's shoulder, as Batista tries to avoid the shot.
Batista closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ground and pound from Batista seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Pik is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Batista asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Batista wants to stand but Pik is controlling his arm.
Pik is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Batista doesn't manage to clinch there - Pik circles away.
Pik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Batista is fending him off so far but Pik persists. Nope, Batista circles away and we're back to standing.
Batista throws a left that rocks Pik and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Batista dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Pik regain composure!
Pik is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Batista stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Pik throws a leg kick but Batista moved away.

Pik drives through and clinches with Batista against the cage.

Pik looks to land a right hand but Batista moved out of range.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Batista misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Heste Pik's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Pik has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Pik escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Batista gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Batista can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Batista is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Pik pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
