With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Starr!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Starr as he avoids it easily.
Starr appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Jackson misses with the combination.
Starr misses with a body shot.
Decent striking displayed by Starr there.

Jackson gets a takedown into half guard.
Jackson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Starr's head.
Starr is looking to control Jackson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Starr avoid being mounted?
Jackson prevents Starr from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Starr is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold.
Jackson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Jackson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Starr is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson lands with some strikes.

It looks like Matt Starr has been cut.
Jackson unloads with some shots from mount but Starr bucks and avoids them well.

Jackson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Starr avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jackson.
Jackson lands a heavy elbow.
Jackson tries to control but Starr wriggling away.

Jackson has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Starr is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Jackson off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Jackson gets his hands free as Starr looks to control.

Jackson is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Jackson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Starr knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Starr for a finish.

Starr is trying to defend against the choke here but Jackson has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Jackson Tightens the hold and Starr taps out furiously! Jackson displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Mack Jackson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
