PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Yagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Kane told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Kane!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane throws a series of punches but Yagan avoids them all with ease.
Kane tries a head kick but it misses.
Kane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Andy Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane misses with the combination.
Yagan tries a head kick but it misses.
Yagan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Yagan swats away the attempt to clinch by Kane.
Kane lands a head kick!

Kane closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Yagan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kane walks away with a smile on his face. Yagan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Yagan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Yagan is going olschool here, as he tries to force Kane to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kane shrugs it off.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
