Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toktogulovich Bakiyev (ranked 12363 p4p, 2022 weight class) and Sheev Palpatine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palpatine has chosen I am the Senate as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palpatine connects with a solid leg kick.
Bakiyev looks to score with a jab to the body but Palpatine is just out of range.
Bakiyev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd cheers as Palpatine lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bakiyev doesn't seem phased though.
Palpatine bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Palpatine scores with a kick to the body.
Bakiyev throws a hook but Palpatine blocks it.
Palpatine looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bakiyev swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Palpatine counter with a right hand.
Palpatine ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bakiyev throws a lazy uppercut
and Palpatine counters with a good, hard body kick but Bakiyev shrugs it off.
Palpatine connects with a leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bakiyev moves forwards but Palpatine connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Bakiyev is rocked!
Bakiyev throws out a loose jab but Palpatine uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oh Bakiyev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bakiyev gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Palpatine gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bakiyev is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sheev Palpatine!
Sheev Palpatine really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Big Dog Gains 160Q $120 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
