Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kayode Madaki (ranked 4364 p4p, 6120 weight class) and Steph Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kayode Madaki has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kayode Madaki seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Madaki wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Madaki using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Curry has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Madaki throws a knee to the head but misses.
Madaki goes for a takedown in the clinch but Curry prevents it.
Curry goes for a takedown attempt but Madaki pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Madaki is looking for a sweep. Curry is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kayode Madaki.
