The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mspomfad lands with an uppercut that bounces Verdins off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Martins Verdins has been cut.
Msujfnaud Mspomfad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Verdins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Verdins showed some decent athleticism there.
Mspomfad wants to get back to full guard.
Verdins wants to stand but Mspomfad has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Verdins is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Mspomfad is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at 88Fight Club Gym88.. 800pw (16 COACHES) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Verdins is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Verdins is keen to just control but Mspomfad is a slippery customer.
Verdins is just content to waste time from the top position. Mspomfad takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Mspomfad is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Verdins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Oh but Mspomfad is tightening it up a little... Verdins has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Verdins reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Verdins taps out! Nice BJJ there by Mspomfad!
