Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Johnson (ranked 4268 p4p, 5508 weight class) and Hakon Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 566 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bradley Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hakon Hansen!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hansen throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Johnson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches.
Hansen looking to slow down the pace here.
Hansen misses with a hook from the clinch.
Hansen tries to work over Johnson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hansen looking to stall.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Johnson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hansen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hansen throws a hook but Johnson blocks it.
Hansen throws a body punch but Johnson moves out of range.
Hansen misses the body punch
and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hansen loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.

Johnson closes the distance and pushes Hansen back into the cage.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hansen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Johnson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Johnson lands in his opponent's guard.
Johnson is standing up over Hansen. Hansen looks to escape but Johnson dives into side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hansen is looking to get back to his feet here but Johnson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Hansen's back.

Johnson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hansen for as long as he can get away with.

Johnson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hansen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.

Johnson gets to his feet - Hansen follows without any prompting.
Hansen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sloppy strikes from Johnson. Those never looked like landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice uppercut lands for Hansen. That snapped Johnson's head back.

Hansen throws a body shot but no joy.
Hansen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hansen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Johnson on the side of the head.
Hansen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
A little jabbing left from Hansen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Hansen throws a hook but Johnson avoids it easily.
Hansen misses with a hook.
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnson takes a swing at Hansen's ribcage but misses.
Johnson swings for the body but Hansen moves out of range.
Hansen throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Johnson counter with a right hand.
Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hansen can do to turn this around?
Hansen jabs at Johnson's body.
Johnson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hansen.
Johnson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hansen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Hansen connects with a crisp jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Johnson.
Hansen looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bradley Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hansen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hakon Hansen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hansen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it.

Johnson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Johnson avoids the body shot from Hansen.
Hansen throws a shot from downtown. Johnson moves away and avoids it.
Johnson slips under a jab.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bradley Johnson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Johnson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You get the feeling that Hansen really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hakon Hansen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bradley Johnson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johnson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Bradley Johnson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
