Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anti Half Assed (ranked 2171 p4p, 1398 weight class) and Kron Diego (ranked 53 p4p, 23 weight class). Anti Half Assed is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Half Assed throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Diego to counter with a crisp jab.
Diego throws a body shot but no joy.
Half Assed scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Diego doesn't seem bothered though.

Diego cracks a nice hook into Half Assed's ribs.
A jab from Half Assed finds it's way through Diego's defenses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Half Assed dives in for a single leg takedown but Diego sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anti Half Assed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diego throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Half Asseds head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Diego.
Diego can't find room to land a body shot as Half Assed controls the action.

Half Assed ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Half Assed no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Half Assed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diego doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diego manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diego tries to free his leg and advance position but Half Assed is retaining full guard.
Half Assed wants to improve his position but instead Diego has moved into half guard.
Half Assed is not content to let Diego control the position.
Half Assed is looking to control Diego's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Half Assed avoid being mounted?

Anti Half Assed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Half Assed shoots in looking for a takedown. Diego tries to sprawl out of it but Half Assed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diego manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Half Assed fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diego looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Diego counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Half Assed moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Half Assed loads up on a big right hand but Diego slips the punch.
Half Assed throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diego lands a leg kick that knocks Half Assed off balance momentarily.

Half Assed decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Half Assed goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Diego turns into him and now he's in Half Assed's guard.

Half Assed is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Diego can do to turn this around?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diego throws a right hand that Half Assed ducks under and follows up with a left that Half Assed also avoids with ease.
Half Assed ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Half Assed looks to land a left hand but Diego moved out of range nicely.
Half Assed throws a looping overhand right but Diego ducks down to avoid it.
Diego seems to have recovered his senses.
Diego doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Half Assed bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Half Assed will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Half Assed walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Diego felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
