Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce comes to the cage accompanied by The Last Dragon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leroy Bruce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Santos!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce throws a head kick that misses.
Bruce rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Santos.
A punch combination from Bruce misses.
Bruce tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bruce throws a head kick that half lands.
Bruce throws a head kick but Santos moves out of range.
Bruce fails to land with a series of punches.
Bruce throws a right and a left that Santos avoids nicely.
Bruce misses with a wild combination.

Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Bruce defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Santos.

Santos swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bruce is now in Santos's guard. A big mistake from Santos there, giving up the dominant position!

That's one minute gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Santos is on top in guard.
Santos with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Santos pushing down on Bruce's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Santos landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Bruce knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground.
Bruce is breathing heavily.
Santos seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Santos uses his free foot to push down on Bruce's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bruce.

Santos goes for an armbar but Bruce turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bruce.

Bruce avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bruce wants to stand and escape but instead Santos has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Santos throws a big right hand that misses.
Santos trying to control but Bruce is working from the bottom.

Santos stands up and waves to Bruce to follow him.
A combination from Bruce does no damage.
Bruce throws a series of punches but Santos avoids them all with ease.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Santos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bruce is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Santos has hold of Bruce's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bruce tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Santos cranks the arm and Bruce screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bruce, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
