PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Short (ranked 3633 p4p, 3460 weight class) and Bartov Milenoosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Short comes into the arena with Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bartov Milenoosen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Short takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Jerry Short has been cut.
Milenoosen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Short closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Short lands in his opponent's guard.
Short definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Short with a flurry of punches that miss.
Short postures up.
Short stands and throws Milenoosen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Short in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Milenoosen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Short. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Short is working to tighten his grip on Milenoosen's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Milenoosen has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Short is really squeezing tight and eventually Milenoosen passes out! Short breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
