Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saul Vargas Medina (ranked 5608 p4p, 5170 weight class) and Kabelo Nyambe (ranked 576 p4p, 547 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kabelo Nyambe!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyambe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vargas Medina avoids it really well and circles away.
Nyambe throws a poor cross that misses
so Vargas Medina counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Vargas Medina missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vargas Medina accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vargas Medina throws a strike but Nyambe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Nyambe trying to control but Vargas Medina is working from the bottom.
Nyambe stops Vargas Medina from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vargas Medina wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Nyambe manages to pass to side control.
Vargas Medina looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vargas Medina tries to kick Nyambe off in order to stand up. Nyambe Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vargas Medina tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Vargas Medina is trying to get back to his feet but Nyambe has full control of the position and if anything, Vargas Medina has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Vargas Medina wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Nyambe drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Vargas Medina 's chin! Vargas Medina is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kabelo Nyambe!
