The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mikhail decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Low is pressing down on Mikhail's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Low looking for a sweep. Not yet Low, not yet.
Low being controlled here, momentarily.
Mikhail with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mikhail throws an elbow that misses. Low uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mikhail's guard. Nice move by Low!

Low in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mikhail can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mikhail really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Low. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Low has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mikhail takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Low's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
